On April 11, 2025, the Lanre Briggs Foundation (LBF), led by its visionary founder, Dr. Lanre Briggs, conducted its highly anticipated scholarship qualifying examination at Imade College, Owo, Ondo State.
Prior to the examination, the Foundation sponsored JAMB registrations for SS3 students of Imade College, ensuring they were on the right track to securing university admission. Since only students registered for JAMB were eligible to participate in the qualifying examination, this step was critical in levelling the playing field for all candidates.
To further support their academic readiness, LBF also funded a two-month intensive coaching program facilitated by qualified teachers. This training initiative was conducted in collaboration with the school’s leadership and was overseen by the Principal of Imade College, Mr. Abayomi Toluwalase Fasawe. The entire process reflected a strong commitment to structure, order, and educational excellence.
On the day of the exam, the atmosphere was a blend of nervousness, excitement, and hope, as students understood the life-changing opportunity before them. Interviews were conducted with the principal, teachers, students, and parents, many of whom shared heartfelt reflections on the scholarship’s impact and their aspirations for the future.
The LBF team was also on the ground to ensure that the exam was conducted transparently and fairly. The examination lasted four hours and catered to students across all academic disciplines: Science, Arts, and Commercial. Each discipline had its own subject combination
